Step 2 for the Free Option

if you have chosen to take advantage of the Free Support, first, we will need information to provide you with the support you desire:

Send us all of these documents so we can create the electronic education record for you in DegreeQuest. This includes:

• For those who are veterans, we need your military transcripts:
  • If you served in the Air Force, USAF Reserve, or Air National Guard, you will need your Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) Transcript, so click here.
  • If you served in any other branch of the military, you will need your Joint Service Transcript (JST), so click here.
• Your college transcripts (unofficial will work fine - you will need official when you are ready to enroll)
• Your college level examination score reports
• Your professional licenses and certifications
• Certificates of completion of professional training from corporations & government agencies that have been evaluated by the American Council on Education (ACE) or the National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS)

Scan in each of these and send them as an e-mail attachment to Support@DegreeQuickly.com

After you have created your electronic education record, DegreeQuest will allow you to search for degrees in the field of study that you desire at the level you seek (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's or PhD). The system will present preliminary results, but does not reveal the names of the colleges and universities - after all, we have not yet reviewed the information you have input into the system for accuracy. You may place check marks beside the degrees that strike your interest, which helps us understand what you desire. We will then engage with several of our participating colleges and universities and have them review the information, create detailed degree plans for you to consider, and reach out to you to explain why their programs of study were identified as one of the optimal choices for you to consider.

Once you have chosen to enroll with one of our participating colleges and universities that presented you with options to consider by using their access to DegreeQuest to guide you, we will then provide you with a login and password to access SOCRATES and the APDC seminar. (Those using the Free Support option who are pursuing a degree at their local college or university and have no desire to transfer to one of the participating colleges and universities that we work with are not provided access to SOCRATES unless they transfer. As such, if they simply desire to use the myriad of resources we provide to help them succeed at their local college or university, the Premium Level Support is the option they should consider.)

Step 2 For Premium Level Support - Payment for Support & Submitting of Transcripts

To receive Premium Level Support, click the image of your credit card below to submit your payment online through our secure site. Although we usually charge the general public $480 as a one-time fee for a lifetime of support, this amount is discounted by 37.5% to $300 for this initiative. (We also offer a convenient three-payment plan in which employees may elect to pay $105 per month, which includes the $15 processing fee that is not required when the full amount is paid up front.)

The results: Time to decide

Once you have submitted the information described in the Step 2 section above, one of the counselors at the HERC will create an electronic education record for you in the DegreeQuest system, merge your academic accomplishments into the curricula of degrees in the subject you desire, then create detailed degree plans to present to you for consideration which maximized the application of the credit you have earned in the past.

For Those Using Free Support:

• For those using Free Support, the participating colleges and universities will explain to you how to understand the information shown in the detailed degree plans created in DegreeQuest from their institutions.
  
  
• For those taking advantage of the Free Support, after you have applied for admission at one of the colleges or universities who contacted you through this support, forward the welcome e-mail to Support@DegreeQuickly.com and we will then provide you with access to SOCRATES and the APDC seminar. We will also engage in a counseling session with you to explain how to use these resources to succeed with the college or university you have chosen with our support.

For Those Using Premium Level Support:

• With Premium Level Support, we will explain to you how to understand the information in the degree plans presented to you directly from our counselors and how to make the most of the thousands of resources linked to our student support website, SOCRATES.
  
  
• For those using Premium Level Support, you will be provided a login and password to access both SOCRATES and the APDC seminar right up front.
