Spiritual Counseling

Getting the right spiritual counseling, advice, and guidance is more important than any other aspect of support that anyone can offer, as the impact of the direction given extends to eternity.  Our desire is present non-denominational resources that present Christian principles in an easy to understand manner.  More importantly, the pastor, Perry Noble, presents these Biblical principles in a way that those who watch and listen will walk away knowing how to apply them to their everyday life.  One church that we know and trust, having attended there for many years is called New Spring.  It is located in Anderson, SC, and is one of the fastest growing churches in America.  We began attending New Spring services held in the auditorium at Anderson College after moving to the area from Pensacola in 2005. When we first started attending, there were a couple of thousand in attendance every Sunday.  In 2007 the church built its own auditorium which seat 2,500 and packed in three or four services every Sunday.  Every year thereafter, that grew significantly.  In fact, when we moved to Tennessee in the Summer of 2009, it was not unusual to find 10,000 attending New Spring on any given Sunday, with as many as 12,000 attending on special weekends, such as Easter and Christmas. Putting that in perspective, Anderson is a city of only 25,514 in an urban area of only 70,530. 

Every Sunday, not only does New Spring record their services and place them on the Internet for anyone to view at a later date, but they stream their services live on the web, enabling people around the world to virtually attend their church.  They present sermons in various series' that focus on topics of importance. On the New Spring website, as you see on the right, they present these collections under their topical heading.  For example, God Is includes five sermons on the attributes of God.  Similarly, I Want A New Marriage presents four sermons that speak to the hearts of married people and how to deal with the troubles they face.  Most of these present five services for each topic presented, with some being sermons from Perry Noble, and others being from guest speakers that are equally gifted by God.

The ones entitled Unleash are presentations during a pastor's conference in which thousands of preachers from across the nation came to hear from the staff of New Spring about their approach to the various ministries and mission opportunities.  How do you access these resources?  Click on the image to the right to go to www.newspring.cc
