College Credit for Professional Training Spans Nearly Four Decades
Not only does the American Council on Education evaluate professional training of the military, but they also do the same for corporations and government agencies. In addition, several other organizations do, as well, including the National College Credit Recommendation Service (CCRS) in New York and the Connecticut Credit Assessment Program (CCAP). In fact, more than a thousand organizations have paid a considerable amount of money to have the agencies performing the evaluations gather teams of academic experts to examine their professional training and identify correlation to courses taught on college campuses in the same or similar subjects. We help students who have completed training that has been evaluated apply the college credit to degrees from colleges and universities across the nation. Others Use Institutional Evaluation For Their Workforce
Some organizations do not have the necessary funds in their operational budget to bring on one of the agencies listed above to evaluate their professional training for credit. An option that a number of corporations have elected to pursue is that of engaging our support in which we coordinate for participating colleges and universities to perform Institutional Evaluation of their professional training at no cost to the organizations or to their employees. This can make it possible for thier employees to get the credit they deserve for their learning experiences.
