Use Our Degree Exploration System Again, If Desired
If you are a returning student, you have likely already engaged in degree exploration using our DegreeQuest System (DQS). Rest assured, the information you entered into your electronic education record is still there - you will not have to re-enter the information, unless something has changed (e.g., you have completed additional courses, earned more credit from military training, passed college level exams, etc.). Many return to the system after they have earned a substantial amount of new credit (such as being promoted in the military or completing advanced professional training that renders a good bit of credit). Then, you would only need to enter the new credit to your electronic education record so that your record is complete. Feel free to re-merge your new information into degrees in the subject you desire. We want you to use our tools to pave your way to completion of a degree in the subject you desire.
Why do others desire to return to the DQS for a second wave of degree exploration? Perhaps you have already searched for degrees in a field of study, such as Computer Science, and have seen which colleges and universities may best fit the credit you have earned in the past. Some of our participating colleges and universities may have already used our system to create detailed degree plans and sent them to you for consideration. When you saw how many advanced level mathematics are required for a Computer Science degree, you desire to explore other opportunities, such as a degree in Business Administration. Not a problem ... go ahead and log into the DQS and search for the other subject that you are interested in considering.
